Cette surrepr\u00e9sentation, nettement plus marqu\u00e9e que dans les contextes europ\u00e9en ou nord-am\u00e9ricain, a des cons\u00e9quences majeures pour les populations de la r\u00e9gion. Partant de ce constat, le projet OASIM (Overall ASEAN market Safety Improvement for Motorcycles), financ\u00e9 par l\u2019ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia), a pour objectif de renforcer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des motocyclistes en Asie du Sud-Est. Son travail a permis d\u2019harmoniser les bases de donn\u00e9es, de r\u00e9aliser des analyses par clusters et de mieux comprendre les conditions et circonstances \u00e0 l\u2019origine des accidents.
